John North shares: “After several years of vision, prayer, planning, strategy, content development, and fundraising, our AFCI team finally launched EvangelismSHIFT last month at Woodvale Baptist Church in Perth.

“This first year we are working just with the leadership (about 65 people), helping them learn to live as witnesses in their own personal lives.

“I loved the response of the group to the first seminar. Many shared that learning to think of witnessing as a lifestyle, rather than a memorised gospel presentation, brought them great freedom and a sense that they can truly live this way.

“Almost all the group also signed up with several others to be their “Sent Connections”—a fellowship of accountability, encouragement and prayer as they take on this lifestyle.

“They are also reading my new “Live As A Witness!” daily devotionals, to renew their minds each day regarding living as witnesses.

“And each week they read a chapter of Kelly Talamo’s awesome book describing this way of life, Ambushed By God.

“I loved partnering up with Aaron Daniell, my co-worker in EvangelismSHIFT. He brought a great vibe to the group interaction times!
