A couple of weeks ago I was really challenged by a sermon at church on the Sermon on the Mount.

This quote sums it up perfectly “Most people are willing to take the Sermon on the Mount as a flag to sail under, but few will use it as a rudder by which to steer.”  Oliver Wendell Holmes.  Since then I have been digging into the Sermon and loving it.  I am now up to verse 5 and finding that the Beatitudes are amazingly encouraging but also massively challenging.  I would encourage everyone to get into the Word and study what God may be saying to you.  If you want me to email my thoughts as I have them, just contact us here and I can forward them on to you. 🙂
