Last month I spoke at Mid-Year Conference for Student Life on the theme, “Calling All the Messengers.”

It was great to have my son David there in his first year as a unit student.  God worked powerfully in many lives both through my messages and through the excellent teaching and training provided by Student Life.

Most students were believers, but it was really moving to see at least seven students put their faith in Christ over the week.  In David’s cabin group was a student named Blake.  David had a number of good conversations with him.  Blake came to my Q&A session and asked some good questions.  I could see he was searching.  Later that evening he prayed and put his faith in Christ with one of the campus missionaries!
